How to connect your Instagram account safely

Connecting your Instagram account to Zaptium takes about two minutes. You do it through Meta's official login — the same secure screen you'd see logging into any trusted app — so you never share your Instagram password with us.

Before you start

• An Instagram Professional account (Business or Creator). Personal accounts aren't supported. You can switch in the Instagram app under Settings → Account type and tools.
• A free Zaptium account.

Connect in 5 steps

1. Open Zaptium and go to Accounts. Look for the + Connect account button in the top right.
2. Log in with Meta. You'll be taken to Meta's official login screen. Sign in with the account that manages your Instagram. (If you're already logged in, you'll just see the permission screen.)
3. Review and approve the permissions. Zaptium asks only for what it needs to do its job: read your professional profile, and manage your messages and comments. Nothing more.
4. You're redirected back to Zaptium. We securely receive an access token from Meta — never your password — and finish connecting your account.
5. Check your account health. Your connected account appears with a status of its own. Open View health on it and you'll see everything at a glance: whether the connection is still valid, and which permissions and notifications Instagram has granted. If anything ever needs attention — like reconnecting — Zaptium tells you clearly.

Zaptium uses Instagram's official Graph API. Your access token is encrypted before it's stored, and you can disconnect your account at any time to stop all automation. There are no risky tricks or password sharing involved.
